Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

The BEST recipe for these cookies. Thanks to my sister for sharing.

1 c. canned pumpkin
1 c. white sugar (I used 1/2 brown and 1/2 white)
1/2 c. oil
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour (I did 1 1/2 c. wheat flour and 1 c. white)
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
2 c. chocolate chips

Combine all ingredients but the chocolate chips. When mixed well add chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 deg. for 10 minutes.

I think they are delicious plain, but you can add cream cheese frosting to the tops if desired

Cream Cheese Frosting
1/2 pkg cream cheese
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

OR ONE CAN of Betty Crocker Frosting
